We had an amazing time celebrating Vaisakhi at the annual Southall Nagar Kirtan on Sunday, April 7th.
The event was a huge success, with a fantastic turnout and lots of joyous fun to be had. Our stand was bustling with activity as visitors enjoyed our delicious Bread Pakoras and the TRS merch that was being handed out.
Vaisakhi (sometimes pronounced Baisakhi) isn’t just a religious event; it’s also a cultural festival that brings people together in unity and harmony.
Originally a spring harvest celebration in Punjab and Northern India, it’s celebrated by various Indian cultures and diaspora communities.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by our stand and made the event so memorable!
