About Diwali on the square event- The Mayor of London’s annual family event is delivered in partnership to celebrate Diwali festival in the heart of London city centre and opens with 200 colourfully dressed dancers in the main square followed by an exciting mix of performances from the Hindu, Sikh, and Jain community on the stage.
The Oct 2022 event welcomed more than 80,000 visitors and our consumers were able to enjoy TRS flavoured ice creams, played fun games and learnt about Indian cooking!
The event was planned to fill the occasion with food, joy and activities to enjoy!
- TRS spiced roll up ice creams in four delicious flavours:
- Oreo and chilli
- Vanilla and cardamom
- Bischoff and cinnamon
- Vanilla and turmeric
- Cookery theatre and food sampling hosted by South Asian food influencer Chetna Makan cooking up delicious vegan and vegetarian party food using TRS ingredients through the day.
- The opportunity to take part in the TRS goody grabbing machine to win prizes including fabulous hampers of TRS goodies, aprons, tote bags.
